As the autumn breeze begins to rise, the footsteps of Halloween quietly approach.
On October 29, 2024, the House Association of Stanley Ho East Asia College at the University of Macau hosted a thrilling Halloween event, bringing joy and surprises to SHEAC students during this special festival. Over 150 students joined in the celebration.
The college was beautifully adorned with numerous Halloween photo spots, and even the elevator was transformed, filled with the festive spirit of pumpkin lanterns and ghost decorations.
When it comes to Halloween, dressing up as a figure of fear is a must. This year, talented students organized the “Halloween Makeup Workshop,” allowing SHEACers to create a variety of spooky looks. From Chinese to Western styles, students showcased their terrifying makeup as they prepared for “trick-or-treating.” This workshop not only offered a fun makeup experience but also added a vibrant Halloween spirit to the college.
No Halloween celebration would be complete without the thrilling experience of a haunted house. The haunted house, thoughtfully crafted by the House Association, guided students into a village filled with horror and mystery. The chilling set design, spine-tingling stories, and interactive scenes elicited waves of screams (not just from the girls!!!)
This unique Chinese-themed Halloween posed a design challenge, but participants appreciated the House Association’s dedication to planning this classic haunted house event for SHEACers.
The successful execution of this Halloween event not only brought joy and surprises to the students but also strengthened their sense of community!
