The SHEAC band kick-started the show with powerful music.

On the evening of 27th September 2017, the House Association of Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC) organised the fourth annual Charity Show cum Bazaar in the outdoor foyer of Residential College Island One in the University of Macau. It attracted a crowd of talented student artists to perform and enthusiastic students to assist and participate.

Group performance of Chinese music and singing

This event aimed to raise funds for local schools and social service organisations in need in the remote areas in China Mainland, which will be used to improve the quality of life of the local communities and the learning environment for children. A student band, musicians and artists from SHEAC and other sister colleges performed for the event. The programme included band shows, solo singing, music instrument performances, interweaving with bingo games. Throughout the bazaar, delicious snacks, such as hand-made candy-floss and home-baked waffle, prepared by SHEAC students were sold for charity, while bingo games were played. The audience enjoyed a brilliant and joyful evening.

Students bought freshly made waffles at the charity bazaar.

The event was concluded successfully at 10 o’clock. Not only could participants feel a stronger sense of belonging to the RC community, but also offer help to vulnerable groups in need.
