Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC) proudly celebrates its remarkable achievement as the overall champion of the Masters’ Cup 2024–2025, organised by the Committee on Inter-College Activities (CICA). This victory marks the second year in a row that SHEAC has captured the Masters’ Cup title, underscoring the College’s consistency, determination, and strong community spirit.
Throughout the academic year, SHEAC demonstrated outstanding excellence and commitment in a wide range of events, achieving multiple top honors:
- Champion of the Cheerleading Competition
- Champion of the Football Competition
- First Runner-up of the Basketball Competition
- First Runner-up of the Chinese Billiards Competition
- Third Runner-up of the Badminton Competition
Beyond the podium finishes, SHEAC also actively participated in other enriching CICA competitions and events, such as the public speaking contest, table tennis competition, the “Pool Challenge”, and the Music Festival. These contributions added to the overall score through valuable participation points, reinforcing the College’s dedication not only to victory but also to holistic engagement.
The Masters’ Cup serves as more than just a contest of skill. College Master of SHEAC Prof. Kathy Qian Luo praised the students’ joint efforts: “We are immensely proud of our students for their perseverance, teamwork and passion. Winning the Masters’ Cup again this year is not just a triumph of competition but a celebration of our community, friendships and shared experiences.” This historic back-to-back victory is a testament to the collective spirit of SHEAC, highlighting the balance between academic commitment, sportsmanship and cultural participation. With this achievement, the College looks forward to inspiring more students to pursue excellence while embracing the values of camaraderie and inclusion.
About the Masters’ Cup and CICA
The Masters’ Cup is an annual inter-college tournament organised by CICA, featuring a wide variety of academic, cultural and athletic competitions. In alignment with its guiding principle of “Friendship First, Competition Second”, the events emphasise CICA’s mission of fostering opportunities for students to explore their interests, deepen friendships, and strengthen their sense of belonging to both the UM and their respective RCs. The CICA aims to foster inter-college collaboration and the development of the seven competencies advocated by the UM RC education system, namely responsible citizenship, global competitiveness, knowledge integration, service and leadership, teamwork and collaboration, cultural engagement, and healthy lifestyle.

何鴻燊東亞書院（以下簡稱“書院”）再次贏得由書院學生聯合活動委員會（CICA）主辦的2024-2025學年「院長盃」總冠軍殊榮。這是書院連續第二年榮膺「院長盃」總冠軍，充分展現了書院一貫的穩健表現、堅毅精神以及強烈的社群凝聚力。
在整個學年中，書院在多個賽事中展現出卓越的表現與不懈的投入，榮獲多項佳績：
- 啦啦隊比賽冠軍
- 足球比賽冠軍
- 籃球比賽亞軍
- 桌球比賽亞軍
- 羽毛球比賽季軍
