On November 29, 2025, Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC) of the University of Macau organized a study visit to the Hong Kong Palace Museum and the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence. The activity aimed to broaden students’ cultural horizons, foster cross-cultural understanding, and enhance their sense of national responsibility.
At the Hong Kong Palace Museum, students admired treasures from ancient China and ancient Egyptian exhibits, deepening their cultural confidence and global perspective, and they learned to respect diversity.
At the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence, students engaged with exhibitions on the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and explored historical trails. They learned about the joint struggles of Guangdong and Hong Kong people during the War of Resistance, reinforcing their civic awareness, sense of belonging to the nation, national identity, and historical responsibility.
Stanley Ho East Asia College is committed to cultivating students’ responsible citizenship and global perspective through experiential learning activities. Students reflected that the visit was highly rewarding. One student shared that “experiencing the vivid wartime representations gave us a far deeper understanding than textbooks alone,” while another remarked, “this activity taught me to approach different cultures with openness and respect.”
何鴻燊東亞書院師生赴港參觀博物館:厚植家國情懷 培育全球視野
2025年11月29日,澳門大學何鴻燊東亞書院組織師生前往香港故宮文化博物館和香港抗戰及海防博物館參觀學習。此次活動旨在拓展學生的歷史與文化視野,培養跨文化理解力與民族責任感。
在香港故宮文化博物館內,師生們近距離欣賞到來自中國古代珍貴的文物以及古埃及文明等展品,深刻感受到中華文明的博大精深與世界古代文明的獨特魅力。學生們不僅提升了審美素養與文化自信,更在跨文化的交流與比較中拓寬了全球視野,培養了尊重差異、欣賞多元的開放心態。
在香港抗戰及海防博物館內,師生們通過透過參觀抗戰主題展覽及遊覽史蹟徑,全面了解廣東與香港人民在抗日戰爭時期的共同奮鬥歷程,深刻體會到抗戰精神的歷史意義。此次學習使同學們更加珍惜當下和平安定的生活,同時也強化了同學們的公民意識以及對國家的歸屬感、民族認同感和歷史責任感。
何鴻燊東亞書院致力於通過體驗式活動,培養學生的公民責任心與國際視野。本次參訪活動結束後,同學們紛紛表示收穫頗豐。任同學分享道:“香港抗戰及海防博物館的生動復原場景,極大豐富了我們對戰爭年代人們真實生活的理解。即便我們當中有人已通過課本熟悉相關歷史事實,但親身體驗帶來的感受卻截然不同,更為真切深刻。”李同學則表示:“這次活動讓我深刻體會到,應以更開放的心態去了解不同地區的文化與歷史,學會尊重差異、包容多元。”
