October marks UM Mental Health Awareness Month, coordinated by the Student Affairs Office with a series of “mind-relaxing” activities. SHEAC continues its tradition of organizing diverse events to help students prioritize mental well-being and find moments of respite amid intense academic demands—especially during the high-pressure mid-term exam period.

The activity series included hands-on workshops that allow students to “clear their minds” through creative crafts; an aroma therapy session where students craft personalized stress-relief blends while discovering the benefits of essential oils for sleep and relaxation; and the college’s popular healthy exercise series, including “Small Steps Stress Away” by Jogging Club,  Beach Volleyball Experience Workshop, and nature outings to ecological area of Cotai for fishing experiences that promote mental relaxation.

In total, these events drew about 180 student participants.
