Resident Fellows are full-time academic staff living in the College. They look after SHEAC student residents’ professional and personal growth. They plan and coordinate academic and informal programmes and activities for student residents, deliver a range of courses and workshops, oversee the student bodies, and give advice to students on various aspects of their life in the College.

Dr. Chan Wai Kong

Kong joined the University of Macau as resident fellow of Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College (HFPJC) in 2016, and SHEAC in 2018.

Kong grew up in Hong Kong and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He then received an MPhil degree and a PhD degree in Philosophy from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in universities, and his research interest is Chinese Buddhism. He loves various kinds of sports, especially rollerblading. He strongly believes that the residential college system is an excellent breeding ground for all-round development of students.


Dr. Yeung Wai Kong, Edmond

Edmond joined the University of Macau and SHEAC in 2016.

Edmond grew up in Hong Kong and acquired a doctorate in education at the University of Bristol. He has extensive experiences in teaching, administration, marketing, and professional development for residential education staff. Edmond aspires to be a great teacher who always inspires students and shares the happiness of learning. His favourite leisure activities are basketball, sprinting, gyming, piano and board games. He believes that SHEAC will lift students’ university life to the next level.
